The EU food labelling legislations were released in December 2014, where eateries by law must label the top 14 allergens within their menus. The top 14 allergens are; cereals containing gluten, celery, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya and sulphites (sulphur dioxide). However, searching for a restaurant online with the allergens labels can be a nightmare or not available at all.
