Food allergies and food intolerance affects million of people worldwide, being the second the more common one. The symptoms are different and both have treatment.

The EU food labelling legislations were released in December 2014, where eateries by law must label the top 14 allergens within their menus. The top 14 allergens are; cereals containing gluten, celery, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya and sulphites (sulphur dioxide). However, searching for a restaurant online with the allergens labels can be a nightmare or not available at all.
